Turkey Creek as a part of Cloncurry Copper Project is a new deposit that has been identified since completion of the 2012 DFS and subsequent revised cost estimate in March 2014.
Having already completed pit re-optimisation for the Little Eva deposit and redesign of the satellite pits, including Turkey Creek, orelogy was requested to include Turkey Creek in the mine schedule and to assess further scheduling opportunities at a strategic mine planning level.
