AIC Mines Limited (AIC) has assigned orelogy to undertake a Mining Study for the underground Jericho Copper-Gold deposit in Queensland.
The Jericho Deposit is located 4m south-east of the existing Eloise underground Copper Mine, which is 60km south-east of Cloncurry and 155km east-south-east of Mt. Isa.
orelogy’s approach will be to ensure the Project plan is practical, achievable and generates maximum value. The plan will be used to commence mining activities at Jericho as soon as all agreements, permits and approvals are granted.
orelogy will undertake the following scope of work:
- Underground mine and surface layout designs.
- Ventilation design.
- Ore Reserve and Production Target.
- Mining schedule to be used for a Life of Mine processing schedule.
- Operating and capital cost estimate.
- Study report document.
We look forward working with AIC Mines to expedite commencement of the Jericho project and transforming Eloise into a cornerstone asset by increasing copper and gold production, decreasing operating costs and extending mine life.
