Beginning his career in 1987, he progressed from hands‑on site positions to Mine Manager before moving into Consulting, where he has delivered more than 50 mining studies ranging from small gold projects to complex magnetite and nickel operations. His work spans Australia and Southeast Asia, giving him broad international insight and deep practical understanding of open pit mining, strategic planning, project evaluation, and operational readiness.
Jake specialises in study management, ore reserve sign‑off, open pit cost modelling, and the implementation of projects from concept through to operation.
