Scott is a Principal Geomechanics and Rock Mechanics Engineer with more than 30 years of experience across operational mining, consulting, and project leadership roles globally. He is recognised as a subject matter expert in underground and surface mine geotechnical engineering, mine design, risk management, and closure planning. Scott has led and reviewed major mining studies from concept through feasibility, implementation, and closure, providing specialist expertise in rock mechanics, mine design, ground control, seismicity, backfill, and slope stability.
His experience includes auditing and due diligence aligned with JORC and NI 43‑101 reporting standards, incident investigations, expert testimony, and independent technical reviews for mining companies, investors, and regulators.
