In 2014 Barrick Gold Corporation requested orelogy to provide strategic open pit engineering support for their Porgera Gold Mine in Papua New Guinea.
By the end of 2015 orelogy was commissioned by Barrick to conduct Bench Height Study to assess the effects of smaller mining model blocks, lower bench heights and smaller loading units.
