Balla Balla Vanadium Project

Balla Balla Vanadium Project

In 2006 orelogy was commissioned by Aurox Resources Ltd to complete a detailed mining study for the Balla Balla Vanadium Project in Western Australia.

During 2007 Aurox engaged orelogy to provide life of mine schedule for their Balla Balla Project.

In 2009 orelogy was retained by Ferro Metals Australia Pty Ltd to complete an update to the previous Definitive Feasibility Study for the Balla Balla Titanomagnetite Project.  The purpose of this study is to update the various mining parameters and costs, and also to examine a number of production schedules for a standalone titanomagnetite plant and a combined titanomagnetite / ferrovanadium process stream.

In 2010 orelogy were commissioned by Atlas Iron to undertake additional production scheduling and cost modelling on the Balla Balla Integrated Project. The basis for this work was to generate a Life-of-Mine schedule which produced 10 Mtpa of concentrate.

During 2013 orelogy was commissioned by Forge Resources Ltd to undertake the mining engineering components of the Definitive Feasibility Study for their Balla Balla Magnetite Project.
