In 2012 orelogy was commissioned by Royal Resources Ltd to undertake the mining engineering components of the Pre- Feasibility Study for their Razorback Iron Ore Project in South Australia.
The first stage of the mining engineering appraisal for the Project consisted of a Project Optimisation Study which involved assessing a number of potential opportunities for improving the value of the project across all the engineering aspects.
One of the key mining opportunities was to assess the benefit of a more focused mining strategy, with the aim of maximising value over the first 5 – 10 years of the project.
