Rössing Uranium Mine

Rössing Uranium Mine

Rössing is the world’s longest-running open pit uranium mine. Operating since 1976, Rössing has produced the most uranium of any single mine. Strategic scheduling for Rössing was completed off-site by external consultants using COMET scheduling software.

In 2013 orelogy was commissioned by Rio Tinto to undertake Evolution Pilot Study in order to provide Cut-off Grade Policy which would be used to showcase how Evolution scheduling software can take the strategic data to produce a detailed, practical, high value LOM or 5 year plan.
