Laurynne is a mining professional with 20+ years of experience working in many roles across geology, mine engineering, and learning design.
Laurynnes experience includes advanced technical knowledge in open pit resource and sequencing strategy, resource planning, life of mine planning, project evaluation, project optimisation and reserve reporting. Laurynne believes in leading teams to identify problems and build robust, sustainable, and safe solutions from the back of the envelope to market.
Laurynne enjoys supporting projects to reach their full potential through thoughtful research and application of suitable technology to optimally extract resource value. Some of Laurynnes favourite technologies include ore sorting, just-in-time mineralisation definition, and reaching for the ultimate goal of a peopleless pit.
Laurynne joined the orelogy team beginning of January 2024.
